GFRG is the abbreviation for Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum, also known as GRG. In Chinese, it is called glass fiber reinforced gypsum. It is a new type of modeling material formed by laminating high-strength gypsum powder (alpha gypsum) as the base material with dedicated continuous rigid reinforced glass fibers and various additives that meet its requirements, through a special process on a mold. The material has a high surface whiteness, is environmentally friendly and safe, containing no harmful elements. The high-quality molded surface facilitates the spraying of any coating, resulting in an excellent decorative effect.
GFRG is primarily characterized by its thin walls, light weight, environmental friendliness, high strength, and non-combustibility. It can also regulate indoor humidity to create a comfortable living environment. Its excellent flexibility and high strength can meet the needs of products requiring any shape, large specifications, and textured effects. It can be made into flat panels and various artistic shapes, and is widely used in indoor ceilings for high-end decorations. Due to its waterproof properties and good acoustic performance, GFRG is particularly suitable for places requiring frequent cleaning and sound transmission, such as stations, hotels, conference halls, shopping malls, theaters, etc., where it is extensively adopted for interior decoration.

Excellent Performance of GFRG
1. No deformation
Since the primary material of GFRG, gypsum, has no corrosive effect on glass fibers and its dry-wet shrinkage rate is less than 0.01%, it ensures stable product performance, durability, resistance to cracking and deformation, as well as a long service life.
2. Light weight
The standard thickness of the flat sections of GFRG products ranges from 3 to 8 MM (they can be thickened upon special requests), with a weight of only 4.9 to 9.8 KG per square meter, which can reduce the weight of the main building structure and the load on components.
3. High strength
The fracture load of GFRG products is greater than 1200N, which is more than 10 times that of decorative gypsum board's fracture load of 118N.
4. Indoor temperature and humidity adjustment
GFRG is a material with a large number of microporous structures. In a natural environment, the porous body can absorb or release moisture. When the indoor temperature is high and humidity is low, GFRG will gradually release the moisture in its micropores; when the indoor temperature is low and humidity is high, it will absorb moisture from the air. This release and absorption constitute a 'breathing' effect. Such cyclic changes in moisture absorption and release serve to regulate the indoor relative humidity, creating a comfortable microclimate for work and living environments.
5. Fire Prevention
GFRG material is classified as Class A1 fire-resistant material. In the event of a fire, in addition to being flame-retardant, it can also release moisture amounting to 15% to 20% of its own weight, significantly reducing the temperature of the ignited surface and minimizing fire damage.
6. Environmental protection
GFRG material has no odor and can be recycled, making it a green and environmentally friendly material.
7. Excellent acoustic effect
Through good modeling design, a sound-absorbing structure can be formed to achieve sound insulation and absorption effects.
8. Short processing cycle
The demolding time of GFRG products is only 30 minutes, and the drying time is merely 4 hours, thus significantly shortening the construction cycle.
9. Convenient Construction
GFRG can be shaped arbitrarily according to the designer's design, and can be produced in large pieces and then divided. It has good on-site processing performance, allowing for rapid and flexible installation. It can be seamlessly spliced over large areas to form a complete shape, especially ensuring no errors in delicate areas such as openings, arcs, and corners.
10. The material surface is smooth and delicate.
The whiteness reaches over 85% and it can bond well with various coating and surface decoration materials, achieving an excellent decorative effect.
